MEMPHIS AMBASSADORS PROGRAM

About
The Memphis Ambassadors Program (MAP) is a year-round enrichment program for students with a GPA of 3.0 and above. MAP is designed to assist youth in their decision-making process about post-secondary life and the development of social, critical thinking, and leadership skills. Ambassadors are required to complete community service projects throughout the year to help them become more aware of their surroundings and become more involved in their community.
Engaging in community service fosters a sense of responsibility, empathy, and social awareness among participants while also addressing important societal needs.
Community Service
Teaching youth life skills equips them with the tools they need to make informed choices, set and achieve goals, manage their time effectively, and build healthy relationships
Lifeskills
Offer invaluable opportunities for youth to explore higher education institutions firsthand. These tours tinvolve visits to campus facilities, including classrooms, libraries, dormitories, and recreational areas, allowing students to envision themselves as part of the college community.
College Tours
Within the MAP Program, our Ambassadors create strong relationships by connecting with peers from other school districts. They cultivate so many life long memories and still embark in fun, educational activities.
