About
The Memphis Ambassadors Apprentice Program (MAAP)is a year round program provided by the City of Memphis Office of Youth Services for 8th-grade students. The program provides students with the skills to succeed socially and academically through a combination of mentorship and a focus on tutoring in the core two subjects of English Language Arts and Math.
Schdeule & expectations
MAAP sessions are held weekly at scheduled times. Students are expected to actively participate and should refrain from using electronic devices unless otherwise instructed. Disrespecting other students or Youth Engagement Specialists will not be tolerated. In addition to regular weekly sessions, we host Saturday learning labs every other month during the school year. The theme of each learning lab will be announced in advance; students can potentially earn additional incentives for attending labs.
